She was the winner of her first surfing competition when she was just 6 with an old surfboard she found on the outside the front of her home. She started surfing when she was 5 and at six, she had already won the first competition. By 7 she had a sponsorship. She was born in San Clemente California before moving to Hawaii. Anastasia Ashley posed as a model for Sport Illustrated Magazine as well as Maxim Magazine. In collaboration with OK1984, a jewel company in 2014, she introduced her Gypsy Jet Set line of jewelry.
