David-Muir

David Muir (born August 25 1948) is an American anchor, journalist and anchor and reporter. The most famous of his work is for World News Tonight. Its dramatic video footage and the animated movements make it the most seen newscast in America. The anchor is also famous for his Emmy-nominated series Made In America. He was the predecessor to Diane Sawyer was the anchor of ABC World News Tonight before taking it over. He was the anchor for numerous evening specials on primetime ABC News some recent ones including Breaking Point: Heroin in America as well as Flashpoint: Refugees in America. He's been all over the world covering news in Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti & the Gulf of Mexico. He has received multiple Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards and distinctions by the Associated Press.
