Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American actor, singer and music producer. Her mother raised her in the USA she faced many racial slurs and made her feel being a bit unpopular. The confidence started to build during the 9th grade, after she took part in a school audition. She received a lot of praise by the judges for her vocal ability. The singer not only gained confidence through the audition and gained experience, but also changed her plans for her career. The 22-year-old earned a degree from Julliard School in New York. She was 23 when she had her first Broadway show with Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her debut film, You've Got Mail were both her big break. The part in The Lad of The Lake became her most memorable break, earning her the Tony Award in addition to praise from critics for her performance. The following year, in 2007, she was a cast member in the ABC show Grey's Anatomy and became more popular. Alongside being an acclaimed singer she also released her own solo album and an extended piece. She is an activist who works tirelessly in the cause of LGBT equality.
